Korean Skin Barrier Reset
Inflammation, redness and sensitivity are often signs that the skin barrier has become compromised. When this happens, the skin can struggle to retain hydration and protect itself from environmental stress, leaving it reactive, irritated and slow to recover.
The Korean Barrier Reset treatment at Hestia is designed to calm and support the skin during these periods. Using advanced Korean skin recovery technologies, the treatment focuses on reducing inflammation, restoring hydration and strengthening the skin barrier.
Minimal downtime. Skin calming and recovery support. Designed to help the skin return to a more balanced and resilient state.
What Is the Korean Barrier Reset?
The Korean Barrier Reset is a restorative skin treatment designed to calm inflammation and support skin barrier repair.
At the centre of the treatment is Inflacure, an advanced Korean skin recovery system formulated to reduce redness, calm irritation and support hydration. Ingredients such as urea and chlorophyll derivatives help purify the skin, inhibit bacterial growth and strengthen the skin barrier.
The system is activated using LED therapy, helping enhance its anti-inflammatory and barrier recovery effects.
The treatment includes:
- Gentle Cica recovery cleanse
- Inflacure serum infusion to calm and repair the skin
- LED Activation Therapy
- Calming Recovery Mask
- Cooling Cryotherapy Infusion
- Barrier Repair Product and SPF
The protocol focuses on calming inflammation while restoring hydration and strengthening the skin barrier.
Approximately 60 minutes.
Your appointment begins with a skin assessment to ensure the treatment is suitable for your skin condition.
Suitable for skin experiencing:
• Redness or inflammation
• Rosacea-prone skin
• Sensitivity or irritation
• A compromised or weakened skin barrier
If your skin concerns are more related to dehydration, uneven tone or dullness, we may recommend our Korean Glass Skin facial, which focuses on hydration, clarity and skin luminosity.
Downtime is minimal.
Many clients notice an immediate calming effect following treatment. Any mild redness typically settles quickly.

The treatment is generally well tolerated. Mild redness or sensitivity may occur but usually settles quickly.
Because LED activation is used during the treatment, it may not be suitable for clients taking photosensitising medications. A consultation and skin assessment will always be carried out before treatment to ensure it is appropriate for your skin.
• Avoid heat exposure for 24 hours
• Apply daily SPF
• Use gentle skincare while the skin recovers
• Avoid active exfoliants unless advised otherwise

For clients experiencing ongoing sensitivity or inflammation, a short course of treatments may be recommended following consultation.
